One Universe biography - Jason "Jay" Peter Garrick was a scientist with the power of super speed. During World War II, Jay fought the Nazi's as a member of the Justice Society of America alongside the Invaders and Howling Commandos. After the war, the JSA continued to protect the innocent for years until finally disbanding.

Jay remained in semi-retirement helping Barry Allen protect the twin cities of Keystone and Central. But the rise of a new breed of super powered individuals, and Darkseid's invasion of Earth,brought Jay back into the hero life. A founding member of the new 'League', Jay continues to fight the good fight and help guide a new band of young heroes to grow into the legends they are destined to become...

Season I - played by wiegeabo
After protecting Keystone City from Darkseid's invasion, Jay confronts Dinah Lance in New York about being the new Black Canary. Learning that the heroes who fought Darkseid are banding together to rescue others trapped on Apokolips, Jay joins the group, providing much needed experience.

After the rescue, Jay joins Zatanna, Dr. Druid, Thor, and Juggernaut in a fight against a dimension-hopping Mordru. They buy Druid and Zatanna enough time to banish Mordru, but Druid is banished as well.

When General Zod declares war on humanity, Jay is among those that fight back. When the battle moves to Africa, Jay clears the area as Nick Fury authorizes a nuclear strike on Superman and Zod. The resulting radiation changes the material of Zod's armor to kryptonite, killing Zod. Running fast enough to minimize his exposure to the radiation, Jay saves a dying Superman.

As the season ends, Jay prepares for the first meeting of the new League.

Season II - played by wiegeabo
The season opens with Jay preparing the JSA Brownstone for the League's first meeting. The gathering is interrupted by Hal Jordan and Captain Marvel who warn that Galactus is coming to Earth. After a massive battle in Metropolis involving the League, SHIELD, and an army of villains, Jay helps Batman rescue Robin and Dinah from the clutches of Ras Al Ghul.

On the day of the benefit to raise money for the mutant cause, Lobo and a cosmically powered Red Skull attack Gotham. Jay and Barry Allen fight Lobo, pushing themselves to their limits, and trapping Lobo in the Speed Force. When Jay returns to Earth, he finds his powers gone (unaware the Speed Force now resides within Barry). When Galactus arrives on Earth, he frees Lobo. This causes the Speed Force to return to normal, restoring Jay's powers. Jay and Superman defeat Lobo and join the fight against Galactus. It's a losing battle until Reed Richard is able to steal Galactus' power and force him to leave Earth forever.

For three days after Galactus' arrival, Jay helps out in Gotham. Pietro Maximoff, one of Jay's old speedster students, shows up and tells Jay that he fears his father is planning something horrible. Since Jay helped rescue Erik from Auschwitz, the season ends with Pietro convincing Jay to visit Magneto in the hope he can use their long friendship to talk him out of whatever he is planning.

Season III - played by wiegeabo
As the season opens, Jay is must protect Keystone from a new enemy; the power-copying android Amazo. The fight spread across the country and is joined by other League members including Superman and Spider-Man. The fight causes Jay to think back to one month earlier when Barry Allen and his family were killed by Barry's friend, Hunter Zolomon. Zolomon, now Zoom, fought Jay throughout the timestream, revisiting key points in Jay's life like the arrival of Galactus and the battle against Zod. When they travel to the moment in time Hunter is crippled, Zoom tries to stop it from happening. Jay prevents him from changing history, and their battle brings them back to the present. Before Hunter can react, Jay shoves him into a portal in time back to that moment in Hunter's life, trapping Zoom between the present and the past.

After the battle with Zoom, Jay meets with Captain America at the Brownstone. They reminisce about the time they fought Captain Nazi back during the war. But their reunion is interrupted when Iron Man arrives and tells them that Amanda Waller and SHIELD agents just stole his Human Torch android technology. The three contact Nick Fury and confront him in the helicarrier where he says that Waller was acting under his orders and the technology actually belongs to SHIELD. Jay stops Stark from doing something they regret and return to the Brownstone to discuss the nature of the League's relationship with SHIELD.

But before the meeting can get anywhere, Magneto calls out over the airwaves for a mutant revolt. The League scatters to the major cities in the US to fight the mutant uprising and protect the people. Jay eventually joins the fight against Magneto in Metropolis, taking on Juggernaut, and rescuing Superman from the kryptonite Magneto stole from SHIELD. When Magneto falls, Jay, through a mind-link with Charles Xavier, calls for all mutants to surrender or return home, or face the 'Justice League'. The season ends with Jay and Xavier talking with the imprisoned Magneto about what he's done, and what's to come.
