One Season Bio - Kal-El was just a baby when Krypton's end came. His father Jor-El had just enough time to build a ship that would carry his only son to safety on the planet Earth. But Jor-El did not have time to construct ships for himself or his wife Lara. When Krypton was destroyed, Kal-El became it's last son, alone in the universe.

Kal-El's craft crashed in Kansas and was found by Jonathan and Martha Kent. Farmers from Smallville, the Kent's couldn't have children so they hid the ship and adopted Kal-El. They named him Clark and raised him as their own child. Under the yellow sun, Clark developed powers as her grew up, and the Kent's adapted as best they could. When Clark became an adult, he spent some time traveling the world before going to college and becoming a reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis There, Clark adopted the identity of Superman so he could protect innocents while still being able to live a normal life as Clark Kent.
