Page Creation GuidelinesThis is a featured page

So you want to create a page, huh?

Well, that's just dandy.

To play around with the EasyEdit Toolbar please visit the Sandbox. Any questions you may have can also be directed to Harlekin for the mainstream RPGs. The formatting of the character pages in the Ultimate RPGs will be different. Questions pertaining to those RPG may be forwarded to MasterBruce.

Some guidelines for you (mainstream Marvel and DC RPGs as well as the One Universe):
  • The first line of the article reads, italicized, whom currently plays/portrays the character
  • The second line is the place for the image, which size is at 300x400 and set to the right. Preferably, the image has a 2 point black line around it (making the actual image 296x396). If you have questions on this in particular, don't hesitate to ask.
  • Proceed with an introductory paragraph, establishing who the character is, alter ego, powers and a little of his/her history in the RPG. This is, like the rest of the article, written in the present tense.
  • Under bolded headings of the separate seasons, summarize, in preferably three to five paragraphs or shorter, what happened to the character
  • Headers should be Season (roman numeral) - played by (username) or unplayed or NPC'ed
  • If multiple people played a character during one season, name them all
  • Include all seasons, even when the character was unplayed. Simply state: "For the first ____ seasons of the game, ____ is unplayed and does not appear", or in some cases "... appears only as an NPC". For the seasons in-between, state: "For this season of the game..."/"For these seasons of the game..."
  • If a character has not been played for the latest seasons, state: "For the latest seasons of the game ____ has been unplayed and he/she does not appear."
  • If the use of an NPC is significant, describe what happens and always refer to the character to whom the NPC is related, stating in brackets (played by ___), to signify who used the character.
  • Size 12 font should be used at all times.

Please also see the example page.

Additional Guidelines for the One Universe:
  • Titles of Character Pages must include (One Universe) after your character's name. This is to differentiate the OU character pages from those of the DC and MU RPGs of the same name.

Some guidelines for you (Ultimate RPGs):
  • The first line of the article reads, italicized, whom currently plays/portrays the character
  • The second line is the place for the first or only image, which can be sized up to 300x300 pixels and set to the right
  • Proceed with an introductory paragraph, explaining who the character is, how he or she is different from their mainstream counterpart, their abilities, and any factoids you wish to be made known
  • Under bolded headings of the seperate seasons, summarize, in as little as possible, what has happened to the character
  • Headers should be Season (roman numeral) for the Ultimate Marvel RPG, or Season (numeral, period, zero) for the Ultimate DC RPG, with a hyphen, and italicized list of whom has played the character on the same line
  • If multiple people played a character during a season, name each one, seperating each with a comma. If no one has played the character, simply put 'N/A', or leave the space blank
  • Include all seasons, even if the character was unplayed, or not existant at the time
  • If you wish to include extra information on a character's supporting cast, weapons, powers, or base of operations, create a seperate article attached to the character's article

I've decided to relax on image sizes when it comes to the DC and Marvel pages. Width maximum is 300, height maximum is 400.
