Jamie Madrox
Jamie Madrox, the Multiple Man, was once a loner, though never really alone. Though briefly toying with a life of crime, he has since accepted help from both the Fantastic Four and Charles Xavier. It wasn't until he joined the second incarnation of X-Factor that he began to shine. Years later, the team is disbanded and Jamie has begun his own investigation firm appropriately called X-Factor Investigations. Sending his dupes into the world to learn as much as possible, Jamie has learned that they are each as individual and unique as he himself. However, he cannot rely simply on himself and so he has recruited his former allies Strong Guy and Wolfsbane for an all new all differant kind of X-Factor.

Season I - played by JewishHobbit
After Wolfsbane quits X-Factor Investigation, Jamie decides to start a new recruitment drive. However, this nearly ends with his own death at the hand of former allie, Random, who had hopes of being paid for a bounty on the heads of many of the world's heroes. Jamie and Strong Guy soon find young Layla Miller who starts them on a strange new mission that results with them finding a team of forgotten X-Men, consisting of Maggott, Lifeguard, Slipstream, Thunderbird III, Paulie Provenzano, Wraith, Xorn, and Pulse. They are being pursued by a mind controled Siena Blaze, who has hopes of collecting on the bounty, and a fight erupts in a Mutant Town park. This battle is interupted by the villain Gamesmaster, who had been controling Siena on behalf of an unknown benefactor. Jamie watches as Gamesmaster kills Siena, but before he can kill Jamie and the rest they are rescued by a repented Random.

Upon meeting Layla Miller, she had told Jamie that he would become a hero in the end but that he'd make mistakes along the way. She even tried to warn him that he was making one when he created several dupes at one point to search the park. This mistake comes to fruition as one of these dupes collected a sniper riffle and managed to kill two of the Forgotten X-Men (Slipstream and Wraith) and injuring Xorn before being killed by Slipstream's sister, Lifeguard. A rift is created as Lifeguard and Thunderbird III depart to find help for Xorn and to bury Wraith and Slipstream. Paulie, Maggott, and Pulse, however, remain behind and join Jamie, Strong Guy, Layla, and Random as the new X-Factor.

Returning to the park to search for clues for Gamesmaster's benefactor, X-Factor finds several vans and people in black searching the area. When X-Factor intervenes, they are attacked by Spidercide, who is working with these strangers. He is defeated and one of the men in black are brought back to X-Factor Investigations by Jamie and Strong Guy for interogation, the others left in the park to look after Spidercide. The interogation is interupted, however, as Pulse races to the building informing them of an attack in the park. Strong Guy races out of the building but Pulse remains and teleports Jamie and Layla away.

Jamie awakens later in a prison and finds Spidercide cowering in a corner of his cell. Pulse then shows up and Jamie learns that it was never really Pulse at all, but rather Sinister taking Pulse's form. Sinister reveals that all of his labs had been raided and his genetic stock stollen, but upon surprising the thief here in his final hiding place, he found that the thief was none other than former Avengers, the Sentry. Sentry was mind controled by Gamesmaster as well, but is now sedated in a separate cell. Sinister had found Maggott and joined with him in the hopes that he'd have some kind of link to the slug that Sinister had once had in his grasp. Finding this to be false, Sinister has now deserted the Forgotten X-Men and has taken Jamie to help him find the mysterious benefactor. He has several leads on where to find this person and needs Jamie's abilites to search them quickly. He uses Layla's life as a bargaining chip and so Jamie does as he is asked.

After some time, Jamie finally arives at a building where, in the basement, a green psychpath named Halloween Jack is experimenting with D.N.A. Halloween Jack, as it turns out, is indeed the mysterious benefactor behind Gamesmaster and his pawns. Jamie learns that Jack is from an alternate year 2099 and intends to bring his world into ours. He had created a portal powered by genetic stock that can link the D.N.A. of a modern person with the D.N.A. of a linking person from an alternate reality. His goal was to find someone that linked 2099 with the modern marvel universe, so far failing. Sinister arrives and knocks Jamie out, intrigued by Jack's plans, and demands his stock returned to him. Jack offers it but a fight breaks out and in the end, the remainder of Sinister's genetic stock is dumped into the portal and it activates, pouring dozens of alternate realities into the heart of New York. Sinister escapes as Jamie and Halloween Jack run for their lives. The streets began to change into other versions, such as the Age of Apocalypse and 2099, and alternate heroes and villains begin filling the streets, battling in a mindless frenzy.

Joined by Loki, Magneto, and Iron Man, Jamie begins forming a plan to reverse the portal. He chases after Halloween Jack and is confronted by the Madri, wicked alternate versions of himself from the Age of Apocalypse. Having spend all his dupes to help civilians, Jamie is alone to face another army but is rescued by the other members of his new X-Factor. He absorbs the Madri and is then confronted by the astral form of the Gamesmaster, who feels that the game has gone too far. The villain then helps Madrox to recover Jack and bids him farewell with a freed Layla Miller as a parting gift. X-Factor then run into Spider-Man 2099 and Skullfire, both from Jack's future, who offer their aid in fixing Jack's mistakes. They then make their ways back to Magneto and Loki. Loki then tears the information of how to build a new machine to reverse the portal from Jack's mind as Magneto builds it, using Spider-Man 2099's mind as a guide to understanding the futuristic technology. It is revealed that an alternate person's energy must be used to power the machine but that that person would be left behind as a result. Skullfire is willing to be the sacrefice and powers the portal. The alternate realities begin to be sucked back into the portal but Halloween Jack realizes what is happening and attempts to stop it. He nearly drags Jamie into the portal but is stopped by Spider-Man 2099. However, Jack frees himself and manages to pull Skullfire into the portal as he is dragged in with Spider-Man 2099 right behind them. With no one left to power the machine, Jamie takes Skullfire's place. He begins creating dupes, and being that all the dupes that are left in him are the alternate Madri, alternate energy is released and the machine is powered. The Madri attempt to kill him but he continues to power the machine so that the world may be saved. Loki, Magneto, X-Factor, and his own army of dupes fight to defend him but the Madri are overpowering him. He allows them so that he may continue creating dupes to keep the machine powered, but as the last dupe is created the machine dies and Jamie nearly does as well. However, the voice of Gamesmaster then echoes in his mind, declaring a final gift, and Jamie suddenly becomes reenergied enough to reabsorb both the Madri and his own dupes. Then he passes out from the strain.

After all is said and done Jamie learns that he had saved New York and that all is as it should be, though one or two stragglers may have gotten away. Jamie, however, is now burdened with the knowledge that he has the Madri inside of him and that he could cause more harm than not when creating dupes. Magneto offers Jamie a place in his Brotherhood but Jamie declines, though Maggott defects and joins him. Jamie then learns that Strong Guy, Layla, Paulie, and Random are staying with him as the new X-Factor.
