Steve Rogers is the national icon of the United States of America. Tested a 4F during the Second World War, the young Steve Rogers volunteered for an experimental serum that made him a super soldier. Fighting the Nazi's alongside his sidekick Bucky, Rogers became known the world over as Captain America. Near the end of the war however, the Captain ended up entombed in a block of ice, frozen until decades later, where he was uncovered by the Avengers, the group he would come to lead in his ever enduring quest for truth and justice.

During the first season of the rebooted game, Captain America was portrayed by a number of players, none of whom stayed with the character for very long. But in their tenures, Master Bruce, Carnage27 and Eddie Brock did establish the Captain's rejoining of the Avengers and the appearance of antagonist Winter Soldier, actually his former partner Bucky brainwashed into being a Soviet assassin.
