A French master of the martial art Savate, Batroc can be one of the more dangerous villains if he gets a chance to. A mercenary, a thief, a gentleman, a buffoon, all are words that could properly describe Batroc, who goes by the
nom de guerre (as he would say) of the Leaper. Or
ze Leapair!
Season I - played by Harlekin
Batroc's portrayal in the RPG starts with a one-night-stand with fellow supervillainess Titania. From there on out, an idea of his home life is given - he lives with his apathetic daughter Marie - and his work life, troubled by the recession and the Red Skull's bounty, working with "Batroc's Brigade" - consisting of Zaran and Machete.
Initially, the Brigade plans to take on the Avengers but these plans are interrupted by the seduction of Marie Batroc by the demonic Ifrit, granting her the power to take her vengeance on the Taskmaster. Instead of fighting the Avengers, Batroc fights along the the heroes, tracking down Marie. After a fierce battle, Batroc manages to talk down his daughter, who relinquishes the Ifrit's gift. And so, unwittingly, Batroc dealt the first real blow against the world threatening Ifrits.
He is seen some weeks later, living happily with his daughter, who once again decides to step into her father's mercenary footsteps.
