One Universe Bio - Bruce Wayne was Gotham's favorite son and had a happy childhood until that fateful night at the theater when a mugger gunned down his parents, Thomas and Martha, before Bruce's eyes. In his grief, he vowed to ensure no one ever went what he did.

Raised by Alfred, the family butler, Bruce traveled the world, studying with experts in all techniques needed to fight crime. As a teenager, Bruce spent time training under Stick and met Mathew Murdock and Elektra Natchios. The three quickly became friends, and Bruce and Elektra's relationship became romantic. Bruce left after fighting with Matt when he learned Matt had also been seeing Elektra romantically.

At the age of 25, Bruce returned to Gotham. By day, he's the irresponsible billionaire playboy, and owner of Wayne Enterprises. By night, he crusades as the Batman, bringing justice to Gotham and striking fear in the hearts of criminals.

Bruce returns to Gotham after years away, surprising everyone, especially those who thought him dead. He wastes no time and takes control of his father's company, becoming the billionaire playboy no one would suspect. He also begins setting up the equipment he needs to be Batman. He makes an ally of Officer James Gordon, the same man who helped him the night his parents were murdered.

At a party for Oliver Queen, Bruce runs into Murdock for the first time since their fallout. Later that night, the Hulk attacks the party. Many heroes attending join the fight and Bruce learns that Murdock is Daredevil and Clark Kent is Superman (and they learn he is the Bat). During the Hulk's rampage, the Flying Grayson's (who Queen hired as entertainment) are killed. Only their young son Dick survives. Bruce, seeing a kindred spirit, adopts him as his ward.

After some time passes, Bruce brings Dick into his world and starts training him. He also begins establishing himself as Matches Malone. Batman confronts the Joker for the first time but underestimates his new foe and is quickly defeated . Sometime later, Doctor Octopus attacks Gotham. Dick helps Batman as Robin for the first time. Together with Spider-Man and Jay Garrick, they stop Octavius' rampage.

The season opens with Batman surprised by intruders in his cave: Ras Al Ghul and loyal servant Ubu. Ras tells Batman that Robin, his daughter Talia, and Dinah Lance have been kidnapped. Following clues around the world, Ras and Batman search for their family. In the meantime, Dick, Dinah, and Talia try escaping their captives. When Batman and Ras finally track down the captors, Batman exposes Ras as the mastermind who wanted to test Batman's skills and bring him into the League of Shadows. A fight ensues, in which Batman brings a surprise weapon: Jay Garrick. The battle is won, and the group returns to Gotham.

Life returns to normal until Batman and Robin come upon a fight at the docks involving Logan. Logan had infiltrated a gang of slave traders dealing in young mutants. Horrified, Bruce gets involved with a mutant benefit being held in Gotham by Charles Xavier.Bruce donates $1 billion to the cause, but the benefit is interrupted by the League's fight against Lobo, the Herald of Galactus. Batman and Robin help evacuate everyone from the building. Later they track the Joker to a warehouse and confront him. Robin is severely injured, but Batman takes the Joker into custody.

Soon, Galactus lands in Gotham. Batman helps in the midst of a chaotic evacuation of the city. Disobeying orders, an injured Robin goes out to help, but is further hurt in a fight. Luckily, Kitty Pryde, seeing Robin in action at the benefit, deduces Robin's identity,tracks him down, and helps him back to the mansion. After Galactus is defeated, Batman helps track down the Scarecrow after he and Electro kidnapped Gilda Dent.

On New Year's day the Joker strikes around the country, blowing up a number of airplanes on live television. This drives Bruce into a depression in which he begins to doubt himself. The season closes as Bruce is surprised by a visit from Elektra.

Season III - played by wiegeabo
Surprised by her arrival, Bruce decides to rekindle his friendship with Elektra. Her presence brings Bruce out of his depression and he even invites her to stay in the mansion while she's in Gotham. As their relationship becomes romantic, Bruce and Elektra attend the annual policeman's ball. But the festivities are interrupted by thugs working for the Green Goblin, and then the Goblin himself. Before Bruce can escape to change into costume, Batgirl makes her first appearance. She delays the Goblin long enough for Batman to join the fight. After nearly killing both Batman and Batgirl, the Goblin escapes, and Batman is forced to return to the party as Bruce Wayne before learning Batgirl's identity. He heads to the police station to find Elektra, but she is so shaken up by what happened, and how dark Gotham is, she leaves, returning to the Greek Embassy in Washington DC to seek comfort with her father.

Batman decides to infiltrate the mutant slave trade being run by Oswald Cobblepot. To do this, he needs to be in two places at once. So he enlists the help of Logan who takes on the mantle of the bat and becomes Darkclaw. Logan patrols as the Bat, while Bruce works the inside of the slave trade. But this decision causes tension at home, Robin believes Batman should have trusted him with keeping Gotham safe, and with Gordon and Dent, who are unsure what to make of Darkclaw. Without Elektra in his life, Bruce becomes darker and more focused on stopping Cobblepot, leaving Gotham to Logan, and becoming further estranged from Dick. But as Dick's new band of young heroes start making life hard for Cobblepot, Bruce finally gets a chance to finally put the Penguin down. Setting a trap for the heroes, Penguin enlists Lefty Knox (Bruce's undercover identity) among other villains to finish them off. But Giganta, Trapster, Trickster, Toad, and Captain Boomerang can't stop Darkclaw, Robin, Starfire, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, and the real Batman.

With Cobblepot's operation shut down, Bruce travels to Washington DC. There he tells Elektra how much he loves and misses her and she returns to Gotham. But while gone, Harvey Dent, who has finally brought Sal Maroni to justice, is horribly disfigured in the courtroom when Maroni throws acid in his face. Filled with guilt and anger, Batman prepares to join the hunt for the detective that supplied Maroni with the acid. But he and Robin are forced to go to New York City when the Joker takes thousands of concert attendees hostage. Defeating the Joker and his men with little time to spare, Batman and Robin return to Gotham to find that Dent's injury has pushed him over the edge. Two-Face is now a wanted fugitive after killing Maroni, and orchestrating the deaths of all the top mobsters in Gotham.

Now Bruce faces a mob war on the horizon, must hunt down one of his friends, and deal with an uncertain future that not only threatens himself, but those he cares about...
